World Theatre Day for Children and Young People is celebrated every year on March 20. It highlights the importance of theatre and performing arts in the lives of children and young people. Its main significance is to nurture artists by enhancing their creativity and imagination. It also encourages self-expression through acting and storytelling, makes theatre accessible to all children, and supports arts education in schools and communities.

Theatre drama has its own legacy and identity. It is not just about jokes or comedy with vulgarity, as we sometimes see nowadays. Instead, theatre drama represents a blend of emotions—smiles and tears, comedy and tragedy. It is a powerful live performance that can deeply move people's minds and hearts, often presenting life through two contrasting faces.
